      • Mrs. Footer was my 2nd grade teacher--that was the summer that my mum passed away. Because she was a friend of the family, she knew the situation and knew how to reach out to me. I don't remember anything I learned but I do remember how she made me feel loved and secure.

      • My top 5 shifts with my moods, although I usually put City of Angels at the top. So to round out today's five, I'd add Mary Poppins, Love Actually, Ocean's Eleven, and When Harry Met Sally.

      • I live in a state that has banned smoking in restaurants and bars. So it's moot. I rather like it.

      • I'm considering upgrading my iPad, I have the first generation. I'm also considering upgrading my Nook, again, I have the first generation. But I'm really pleased with both devices, so I'm not seriously considering it.
