and "What The Dogs Taught Me," both by Merrill Markoe. Warm, funny, insightful little stories about life and kindness, and dogs and happiness. These books are especially helpful when I'm taking myself too seriously.

If you reproduce "the old-fashioned way" -- LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER. She's always right, and this will save you lots of time and mistakes.
If you reproduce by spores, cloning, etc. -- reintroduce sex. It's way more fun.
