      • When I dressed this morning I thought they said "classy" but after I tripped and fell flat on my tummy off a curb during my lunch break, I went and looked in the mirror for damage and I suddenly felt like my clothes said "NERD".

    • 'Elf' deserves to be watched over and over

      • I just love this movie. It's funny and cute. My kids are the ones who are always watching it, but I find myself sitting down to watch too. I also like Tommy Boy, so I gues I'm a simpleton.

    • The State Fair is a great people-watching spot

      • You see all types here and most of them make you feel better about yourself. Big, small, fat, skinny, toothless, hot, you see them all gathered together in the heat of the summer. It is a freak show, it is a cat walk. I love it. You can see all the latest fashion do's and don'ts. Mostly don'ts, but they are the funnest to see. My favorite is the big woman in the spandex shorts, the tank top with no bra, and the cowboy boots. Too sexy! Can't wait for this year's great MN get-together!
