As a basic rule, its never okay to lie, but I would be lying if I said anyone can go through their life not lying. I think it's more of a question of stretching the truth or deciding to hide certain facts and I think the only time it is good to do that is to protect a person's feelings.

When I was 12 my brother accidentally cut me with a pair of scissors. I was reaching for a helium balloon at the same time he was cutting of the end to suck in the helium. Needless to say, me finger got caught in the scissors and I had to go to the hospital and get 7 stitches in the tip of my left index finger. At least it's a cool scar, because it is exactly the same on both sides.

When I heard the first time, I was much younger and my older brother was playing it all the time and I didn't like the music and it was unlike anything I had heard before, so it just seems foreign. Now, I love it. It is one of the songs that is on my playlist at work.

When it first came out I enjoyed it for about 5 minutes, then got sick of it as I heard it everywhere I went. After about 10 years, with the leader singer killing himself and myself starting to write, it is one song that always helps me get into the mindset of my characters.

Yeah I know, big corporate place, but I used to work there and still know a few bartenders so I get free drinks sometimes :). It a good location, you can people watch, enough TV's to watch whatever game is on, and then after we go to see a movie. Nothing too crazy, but a good place to catchup

We went to the 2002 Winter Olympics in SAlt Lake City. A group of 8 of us raod tripped from college in Sacramento, to our buddies house in Park City. We stayed there for 4 days, partied, saw a SnowBoarding Slalom event and had a blast.

Every year my Dad's side of the family (about 50 of us) go camping for 10 days. We have do so since 1969, well they have, I'm only 28. But, each year, once I get there I turn my phone off and tuck it away in my tent. After the second day I don't even realize it's gone. It's actually kinda nice now that I think about it.

Characters Telling

This applies to story writing: A creative writing teacher once told me, the characters will tell the story they want told. I didn't understand it until a few months later when I had a story where I knew the ending I wanted and just had to start at the beginning and get there. Well about half way through, I realized what he was saying because the characters evolved and started to act differently then I expected and started telling their own story.

This movie is slow paced, but perfectly paced. The acting is very good, and yes I am not a big fan of Colin Farrell. The story is intriguing, the scenery is beautiful and the mood of the movie is perfect. You won't get lost trying to follow it or laugh to hard it hurts, but you will be pleasantly taken on a 2 hour journey.

My nickname is Lek. Just came about my freshman year of high school. Bored in a class one day with a buddy and we were messing around with the spelling of our last names. M last name being Leach, became Lech then Lach then Lek. Some people have seen it and pronounced it Leek but it's pronounced Leck but spelt Lek.

I remember vaguely using the internet in my older brother's room when I was a junior in high school, 1996-97. All I remember is it being slow. I remember more specifically where I was when we got our first CD Rom. I remember it was 1992-93 and my dad and I got an internal one so we spent hours getting it setup. I remember looking at Encyclopedia Britanica on it and being blown away. We also got "The 7th Guest" the next day and I have very found memories of that game.

Spiders & Sharks

Always had a fear of Spiders and Sharks.
I don't like anything with over 4 legs and add to that that Spiders are hairy and fast and creepy looking, I hate them

As far as Sharks go, my theory is this: If I'm in Africa and getting chased by a lion or a cheetah, I still feel like I have a chance of survival, regardless of how slim it is. In the ocean, there is no way I am out swimming a shark.

Watership Down is one of my all-time favorite books so i figured would give another Adams book a try. Add to that the fact that the great bear in The Dark Tower series by Stephen King was named Shardik, if added to my interest.

I started and it dragged along and dragged and I put it down to pick up something faster.

All it would take to finish is a cross country flight or a long lonely weekend

My vice is zombies, hence the name and the website. It started when I was 15 and idolized my older brother who was 19. He was always into horror movies and loved zombie one the most. I hated them, but wanted to be cool in his eyes so I forced myself to like them.
