    • Five Things I'm Good At

      • I good at spending too much time thinking about things I want to be good at. I'm good at pondering answers to complicated questions like why American corporations are sending all our work over to China, for instance. when we already buy everything from them in the first place. I'm good at reading food labels and wondering why 90% American food products contain added sugar for no good reason. I'm good at being angry at Republicans. This is only 4. Oh yes, I'm good at taking overripe tomatoes and making a great sauce.

        Okay.. this is a really hot topic....flavor....If I were a flavor....geez... I am a flavor...i think...as a a matter of fact i know...very complex...a little zing..a little sweet...definitely enticing...at moments....
        Ok...I were a flavor? I guess it depends on my mood....could be cayenne..could be cinnamon...definitely a little vanilla most of the time...and other times ginger and sesame.....

    • When I Start My Holiday Shopping

      • I'll think of my last day at the lodge sippiing on peppermint laced steaming hot chocolate.....and I'll spend the rest of the Spring earning enough to pay it all off


        Snow Dusted Cedar Tree

        Personally, I like the hustle and bustle, the last minute sweat. I anticipate my trip to Macy's fighting the crowds, standing in lines and the cup of Capuccino I will have an the end of a grueling day. I'll sit at my bistro adding up the dollars I saved with the additional 10% on top of the already 75% markdowns. They made it in China anyway for less than $1.25. So, this is the next best thing to haggling. i'll enjoy the piped in music, the smells of cinnamon and the crowds standing in lines. When was the last time we got together at the last block party anyway. I love the holidays. My days off. My one day with my kids when they realized I suffered through this torturous day just for them.
