    • Heart Versus Head
      • Generally follow my head/gut. I would love to follow my heart, but it's not often engaged. If I needed to make a decision and it was between my head and my heart, my head would definitely win!

        Bob Marley

Raggae, Bob Marley, is amazing for lifting my spirits and reminding me to let the stress go. Live, Laugh, Love!

    • A Must for Every Child's Book Collection
      • Get this book for your kids, for your friends' kids!

This book is awesome... very engaging for children, easy to read for adults. The setting is a far-away land where food falls from the sky fully prepared. Chaos ensues when the food gets HUGE and out of control. A classic!

    • Roommates Date Jerks, So You Don't Have To
      • Police Car Bonanza

So my roommate was on a first date and I was staying home that night. She called me at midnight, crying, said that her date left her on the side of the road in a pretty bad part of Tampa. So I jumped in my Datsun and drove down to Hillsborough Avenue, it's cold outside, and I'm wearing my pajamas (I was asleep when she called) and a robe. I was almost to Nebraska Avenue when I saw flashing red & blue police lights behind me, pulling me over. Grrreat!

So I'm frantically pawing through my glove box for my proof of insurance when there's a knock on my window. I looked up in a panic, and there's my roommate! She explained that when she was standing there on the side of the road looking pitiful, a policeman stopped and (small world) it turns out she knew him so he let her wait in his cruiser until I got there.

Yay! We then drove back to our shit-hole apartment on Fowler Avenue and discussed the jerk. Sadly, not the last jerk that she dated.

The brothers fight it out (I)

Pet Wars! My animals (1 small dog and 3 cats) seem to be endlessly fighting, stalking each other, and pouncing. It's pretty entertaining for me so I hope that pet-lovers would also be amused by their hijinks.
