        I feel waaay too old to be playing Pokemon (even knowing what it is dates me), but I still do it. Being old shouldn't be an incentive for anyone to stop doing anything that they like to do.

    • A Wild Animal Encounter

      • Virginia Opossum bearing its teeth

        This is the perfect prompt since this happened only a couple weeks ago.

        Encounter 1:
        So I was minding my own business, walking to class, and I have my head down since it's really windy and stormy out. I look up at one point and see that I almost stepped on some big black unidentified blob. I'm squinting and trying to see what it is, and then it MOVES. It turns out I almost had stepped on a skunk. It got all mad and started bunching itself up and hissing and I was like out of there at that point because once it starts doing handstands and stomping, it's going to spray. Anyway, after I half walked half ran away, it just lumbered off into the woods like nothing happened.

        Encounter 2 (a couple days later):
        I was once again walking to class and it was probably around 7 in the morning. I see thing thing moving on the sidewalk in the distance and as I get closer, it like runs to the middle of the path and freezes. It looked like a cat from far away, but as I got closer it turned and started walking slowly to the parking lot and I saw that it was an opossum. When I walked past where I saw it, I didn't know where it went and couldn't see it so I half ran half walked again to avoid getting bitten. It was quite ugly and scary :-/

    • A Great Place for Stargazing

      • The coolest place I have ever stargazed was when my family and I took a vacation to Montana. We were out in the mountains and when you went outside onto the porch, the sky was amazing. My house is also a great place. It's so awesome to look up and see how big the Earth really is. You don't really notice it during the day.

    • My First Album

      • Oh gosh that was such a long time ago. Well it wasn't like a record or whatever, it was a CD. I think it must have been a Barry Manilow CD. I got it for Christmas one year and it was so exciting. I must have listened to it 25 times in one day.

        Hotdogs and baked beans. One day I happened to have a faulty plate, and the beans rolled onto the hotdog. It was love at first taste.
