        I love listening to the radio. It's so old fashioned and quaint. It takes me back to my childhood days when we used to hold a tape recorder up to the speaker to record our favorite songs.

        These days I have a radio in the kitchen. Since I spend a lot of time in there, I can often feel isolated. Having a radio rather than streaming or MP3 helps me feel connected with the outside world. When the commercials get too jangly or persistent, I change the station.

        Usually I listen to KKZX-FM in Spokane, WA.
