When my Mom and her sister were teens (now 76!), my Grandpa used to call all their boyfriend "Bicycle Willie". He used to call my boyfriend, "Airplane Willie" because he was a pilot. Grandpa's been gone over 20 years but to this day, boyfriends and girlfriends are all universally called "Willie" in our family.
