      • In response to: "What do you do on the side?" I write fiction. As of now, I'm working on fan fiction for a longtime favorite movie. I've also got a few ideas simmering. One silly idea about a chocoholic in need of an intervention.

    • My GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!!!
      • FINALLY!!! THE TRUTH WOULD BE TOLD!

If I could be on ANY SHOW in ANY CAPACITY?!?!? Ooooh...dream job! I would be a ONE TIME writer on the show FAMILY GUY. DESPITE my disdain for the program, and its heartless 'head' of the house, who treats his daughter like crap, being a writer, one time only, WOULD allow me to FINALLY tell the truth about Stewie Griffin's origins. Let's just say, the subject has been broached by Ira Levin, Whoever wrote the Omen series, and Jerry B. Jenkins of Left Behind fame in "THE RISING". Only, in that series, the character's name was NICOLAE CARPATHIA.

    • Real clothes for real people.
      • Clothes make the gal!

If I had a clothing line, it would be called ReaLWomaN EVERYdayWEAR. Clothes for work and just about everything else. Since I'm not into parties, I wouldn't do anything about formal outfits. For the most part, it would be Jeans and tops for women who DON'T want to show off everything they have! Some more formal and casual outfits for just hanging around.

      • Quiet Place

When it comes to writing, I mainly write at home, at my desk, but that's on my laptop, which I will not take out of the house. But if I'm using an old fashioned pen and notebook, I like writing at a coffee shop.
As for reading, I enjoy reading at the library or at the park on a nice summer day, or in bed, before I fall asleep.

    • Books or the Movies?
      • Sometimes, the movie IS better!

Nope. Not ALL books are better than the movies. Carrie, (By Stephen King) was best realized as the movie directed by Brian DePalma; with Sissy Spacek. Jaws. While the beginning of the book was good, Steven Spielberg spun the story into THE classic horror/adventure film, almost by accident; what with the Shark refusing to work. Temper-mental stars!

    • Riding the Rails.
      • Half the fun is getting there...

The longest 'road trip' I've taken was to The Pas, Manitoba, by rail. (Does this constitute a proper 'ROAD TRIP'? ) If so , I go every Christmas, with my mom. The trip takes about twelve hours so we have to sleep on the train. For me it's semi comfortable, but mom has a hard time sleeping on moving vehicles

This coming year, we're taking a plane. That trip will take just under an hour. Major time-saver, but it's nice to ride the train. For me, anyway, it allows me to write and relax. Finding a comfortable sleeping position is another story.
