Some days are thoughts, thoughts, thoughts. Decisions. Googling. Being tired. Wondering...mistakes? Being dramatic because it makes your decision feel more worth while.

Sara Bareilles, if you ever read this...THANK YOU. Your music is like Ben&Jerry's for the soul.

"You have ugly handwriting for a girl."
        Uh, thanks?
How exactly should I reply to that statement, Mister.
But anyone who says that isn't too far off. I would describe my handwriting as...lazy. I don't put any effort into it and I don't care to. I have deep admiration for those with beautiful, bubbly handwriting. My 7th grade health teacher could use both capital letters and lowercase letters interchangeably....swoon.
I, on the other hand, have letters that look like they stopped growing in the 8th grade. The often run together rather unfortunately. And as much as I try to use upper case and lower case letters in an acceptable way, people look at my funny as they come across the random capitalized M's and R's.
It's okay, my ratty handwriting and I go together well. Often times I write so fast that it's a good thing I don't give a damn. I wouldn't get enough out if I was focused on the roundness of a "D" or the sharpness of "K."

      • Sudoku

When I can't sleep at night there is one thing I turn to. I roll over in my bed and reach for the cure, Cellphone Sudoku.
What kind of genius created this? Now, I know what you're thinking. "There's a thousand cellphone games out there. Sudoku, really?"
        Yes.
Think about this for a minute, when you are tired and trying to sleep would you rather play a rousing game of Angry Birds or a nice, calming game of Sudoku? It's like virtual chamomile!
Granted, I'm rather terrible at this game. In fact, I've restarted it about five times, each game lasting about forty-five minutes, and I've yet to complete one. But it's still gives me a false sense of satisfaction when I think I've got it figured out.

Also, it's the only free game that came on my phone. And that sense of financial freedom gives me the peace I need to sleep at night.
