Well, it was a difficult affair to begin with. I was living in one city and she was living in another. We had started talking about taking things to a new level, approaching engagement. I told her I wanted to move out of my city anyway since it isn't a good idea for an IT guy to stay in one place for too long.

The next week I started looking for a job in the city she stayed in - and promptly got one that paid better, had more benefits and presented more of a challenge than my current job.

So I discussed things with her, I quit my job and moved.

The night I arrived, (some of my stuff was still being unloaded) she came over and dumped me. Without providing any reason. She later told me that she had fallen in love with another guy months ago already, but didn't have the spine to tell me.
