No. Silence is great. It gives time to reflect or think without other noise getting in the way to distract you. Silence is inevitable so you might as well get used to it. Silence in conversation isn't necessarily bad. It might just mean there is a lot of thinking going on, and that is good. There was a time when I didn't like silence for these same reasons. I didn't want to think about this or that. I didn't want to think at all. But I got over that quickly. I realized that thinking is crucial and that I would go nowhere without thinking. I also discovered that my best thinking came with quiet moments. And now look at me. The reason I want a single dorm room is less for the privacy and more for the quiet space to think in.

Family and family. You get to be with those you love most and you miss those you've lost.

Romance is the chase. It's knowing what your significant other wants or needs and making that happen for them. Even in a marriage I believe there is still an element of the chase that never quite leaves because it makes things interesting. You want to be able to surprise your partner with romantic, caring, loving acts every once in a while as though you were still dating and not already settled down.
