    • Election.
      • I realized I was an adult when I was called to vote. I had been entitled to vote for quite some time and forgot about the fact that I was allowed to. That's maybe why I was flabbergasted when I got the letter! *lol*

    • Lights out, London.
      • I've never been fond of metropolises, but that one I never forgot. I once went there while on a class trip and it just found its way into my heart.

It might be the fact that people there speak English, which is my tongue-of-choice. It might also be the fact that you have easy access to art and history/historical buildings. Or the fact that Covent Garden is a magical place. Or the politeness of the citizens.

I don't really know. I just know I wanna see that city again. And I know I wanna see it soon.

In the century of e-mail-addresses and virtual houses, it might seem antiquated, but I actually love writing 'real' letters. It just feels more personal to me.

What I love even more than writing and sending letters? Receiving them. And while we're at it, I recently got one from my very good friend Mel.

Uhm...the last one I sent... Must've been the one I sent Mel's way for her birthday last year. =)

    • Death penalty - my opinion
      • cell block 7

There's this quote I totally agree with: "Why do we kill people to show people that killing people is wrong?" I don't believe in the death penalty. Partly because of this quote. And partly because in my opinion they shouldn't get away with what they did so fast. They wait for death like maybe ten years, if not less. But their victims, children, women, men were hurt for life. I think rapists, murderers and other animals should be locked away forever. Like in a very small cell. They should feel caged. Like animals. 'Cause the victims also do feel caged. Frightened. They will have to cope with what happened to them their whole life. Their perpetrators shouldn't receive the kindness to be released. They should feel guilty and dirty (and all the rest of it) for the rest of their lives.
