- In response to: "What was the comfort food you enjoyed most growing up?" Mashed potatoes! Creamy, yummy, goodness! WITH the appropriate amount of lumps so you are guaranteed they are real!! (No flakes please!) I'd give up dessert for more potatoes! Still would!

Kindle, how how I love you. Most of the time that is! I love you when I'm at the airport and flying on a plane. I love you when I'm in the car taking a long trip to the Nebraskas. (say "the Nebraskas" makes it sound soooo exotic!). I love you when I have an appointment or I know I'll be waiting. You are so easy to carry and tuck away! I can bring the equivalent of my entire library! Oh there are so many ways I love you. There is one experience you just can't quite replace: Discovering new books at a bookstore.
A trip to the bookstore to peruse through books is the best place to find out about books you might like! I suggest scheduling, at a minimum, several hours for for this endeavor.
In my humble opinion there is no better way to find good books than time spent with a warm cup of coffee, a latte or Chai Tea - take your pick - roam the book store grab a few that have caught your attention; hold them, feel them, caress the jacket cover, read the back and sit in one of those nice over-sized leather chairs and explore your options. . . a little deeper and a little further before deciding what your purchase (or purchases) may be!

The question on Plinky "Have you ever thought of writing a book?" Oh yes I have thought about writing a book! Ever since hearing Stephanie Meyer's inspiration and story behind her writing of the "Twilight Series" I've thought of writing a book!
I think about it, quite frankly, a lot! I have not started. Like the laundry, the dishes, the sweeping and mopping . . .
