We have technology on our side. Communicating is easier and technology has allowed things to become much more convenient. However I think that's about it. We've been born into a world that is a mess. Things are far less simple and we face pressures that didn't exist years ago.

Not as much as I used to but probably still too much. I used to get in from school and just watch a solid three hours of TV until dinner most nights. I watched Come Dine With Me religiously. Now, I just watch it when no one else is in the living room and there's nothing else to do. If everyone else is watching something I want to watch then I'll watch it with them.

The hall and field in my primary school. They used to seem like the most enormous sprawling areas of land in existence. The length of the field felt like a mighty quest and looking up in the hall, the ceiling seemed like it reached the sky.
However, a few months ago I went back to visit the primary school and it felt like everything had shrunk marginally. The field now feels like a slightly over-sized back garden and the hall is miniscule compared to the sports hall at school now. Quite odd really.
