  Well, technically it&#39;s not *my* broke meal, it&#39;s my grandmother&#39;s.  During World War II, she used to make butter-and-sugar sandwiches.  A prof once insisted that it&#39;s supposed to be margarine-and-sugar, butter having been rationed, but in my family it&#39;s butter, because my grandfather worked for a dairy and was paid partly in kind.  And yes, I still eat it sometimes.  Fat and sugar!

  I&#39;ve never actually been on fire.  I&#39;ve never even set anything on fire that wasn&#39;t supposed to be on fire.  I&#39;ve set candles on fire, and at a misguided semi-camping experience that my junior high sent us on, we had to light campfires on the beach.  My grandfather, on the other hand, was a pyro.  He used to set things on fire in the kitchen, and my grandmother would wait nearby with buckets of water.

  I love my Smartcar.  I drive a lot of cars for work, and I&#39;ve yet to find one that I like nearly as well.  So my dream car is pretty much a Smartcar with a couple of improvements (cruise control, phone dock, in-dash GPS... the list does go on for a bit).<br/><br/>Unless we&#39;re talking &quot;ride&quot; as in &quot;things to ride on,&quot; in which case a pegasus would be nice.

  We used to talk on ICQ every day (for hours if we could).  We&#39;d get to see each other once a year for about two weeks.  It&#39;s much easier now that we live together!  But good communication can make anything work, I think.
