A few years ago my boyfriend and I went our to the International House of Pancakes for a midnight breakfast. There weren't many people in the restaurant. We enjoyed our food while sitting close to each other on the same side of the table -- in love and showing it off to the world. When we tried to pay for our check the waitress told us that the man on the other side of the restaurant had already picked up our tab. He said we looked like we were in love! And that we are.

This venue is where it's at. It's open and you can see the band from almost anywhere in the venue. They also have little side rooms if you want to sit down, relax and have a drink with friends.

The last time I was here was years ago. The 9:30 Club seems to always have awesome music coming through. Great place to check out if you're in DC.
