      • In response to: "What is the one thing you consistently spill on yourself?" Water. Period. More interestingly, OTHERS often spill on me. Beer. I don't drink, don't pretend to not drink, and am not legally old enough to drink, but people always spill beer on me if possible.

Leonard Cohen is quite the genius in keeping me interested and thinking. Plus, reading one of his shorter poems out loud quietly under my breath to a neighbor to start a conversation. Plus the illustrations are epic. ^.^

    • Wait, the night's not over yet.
      • When I met my closest friend in college. She was vomiting her guts out. I carried her frail 98 pound frame to my P.O.S. car and drove her to the hospital. After 12 hours of annoyed ER nurses and some torrid phone calls to her family, we sat in an abandoned iHop with cups of coffee. She started bawling. It was then that I realized, I had saved someone's life. And it wasn't the first time. It was quite a load put on my shoulders that morning. I was paying bills, looking after my 2 year old sister, going to college full time, seriously dating someone I intended to marry, holding down 4 jobs, and being the responsible one. I still don't know if I'm ready to be a grown up.

    • Lies make it better!
      • so what got me into trouble...

a story of lifes and lines(and lies),the life thread

Lying. Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them. When I was five, I spilled perfume. Instead of fessing up, I lied and said nothing had happened (even though you could smell it ALL through the house) and the habit just stuck with me until I was in Jr. High.

Heh, makes you wonder...why believe me now?
