- If My Pet Could Talk
-
Dear Worst Cat Owner on the Face of the Earth,
You suck. Like a lot. Like I want to use your favorite Barney blankie as a litter box liner. The food tastes like ass, my water isn't cold enough and all my toys are boring and worn out. Your bed is so uncomfortable and when I try to get comfortable by kneading your legs, you get mad! Well, what the fuck am I supposed to do huh? Sleep in my bed? Um NO. You don't let me climb on the counters and you never let me go outside. The cat down the street can, why can't I?! Don't you trust me? Well, if I was allowed out, I would NEVER come back! Yeah, never! Then you can get another cat that's more to your liking. I'm going to runaway and lie down with the dogs!... Er, okay perhaps not actual dogs, but you understand. You're the worst pet owner ever and I can't wait until I find a way to escape your grasp.
Sincerely,
The Best and Most AMAZING Cat EVER.
...Yep, if my cat could talk, it'd be a spoiled brat.

- An Author I Admire
-
Oh gosh, there's so many authors I would DIE to be in the presence of. Nora Ephron, H.P. Lovecraft, Meg Cabot, or J.M. Barrie, but there is only one that makes my heart skip a beat.
Sylvia Plath.
She is my muse, my inspiration and my idol. My mom nearly had a heart attack when I told her that my role model is a woman that ended her life by sticking her head in an oven, but that's irrelevant. Her poetry speaks to me and her one and only novel, The Bell Jar, is probably the one book I've read over 10 times and never have I gotten tired of it. Esther Greenwood, the protagonist in the book and a thinly-veiled caricature of Sylvia herself, is the twin to my soul. Whenever I feel down and feel like no one understands me, I feel like Esther would understand me. She supports me through thick and thin.
What questions WOULD'NT I ask her! But at the same time, I wouldn't ask questions. Well, not directly anyway. I don't want it to feel like an interview, but an organic conversation. I don't think she would like interviews anyways. :)
