The following is advice I would like to give but wouldn't be able to at most schools:
"You will be told to do many things, be many things, and aspire to many things. These things are probably good, but there are very few things that truly matter in life: love God, love others, work to loosen the bonds of injustice, take care of the widow and the orphan, and rejoice in the Lord always." Whatever you do, do for the glory of God and you can't go wrong.

As the subtitle says, it is a nonreligious look at Christian spirituality. Don Miller does an amazing job discussing things like theology and doctrine in a casual down-to-earth way that allows one to imagine having their social beverage of choice with the author. This book is perfect for non-Christians and Christians alike.
