My ex had decided he wanted to get out of the state, so he went with his friend to college in Cleveland. A couple days had passed, he called me around midnight one night asking if I'd be willing to catch a bus around 5am to come & see what Cleveland was like. Plus, he said he missed me. The bus ticket was only 20$, so I figured what the hell. My 1st 12 hours on campus were nice, but I was certainly overtired. Things went downhill between he & I during the last 12+ hours. On top of that, we didn't even do any sight seeing while we were there, so...it was pretty much a waste of time. All I remember were the bus stops, my Jamaican cab driver, meeting up with the ex then sleeping on the floor for 2 hours, wandering around exhausted & hungry in the blistering heat, the cool night outside his friend's friend's house, playing pool by myself, arguing, & watching the sun rise over the campus. And writing in my journal an awful lot. Oh, & giving him dirty looks all morning until we got on the bus for home, which was when I finally got some sleep (& that was the only time I've ever been able to fall asleep sitting up.) *whew!*

My goddaughter will be 3 in April. As soon as my bff told me she was pregnant, I immediately felt the need to make her a baby blanket. So, I re-learned how to crochet, & set myself out on a mission. My first attempt was a huge failure; my second attempt I realized would take me forever and a day, so I decided to make it big enough for even her mom to be able to use as an afghan. They finally received it right before XMas x)

It was a cute, simple game that never seemed to end. I remember playing it all night with my mom one time when I must've been about 7- We got past level 110 before we quit. Good times :')
