    • If you could bring one fictional character to life for a day, who would you choose?

The Flying Spaghetti Monster Plush (3D)

Now this is a tough one, so many to choose from. And only for one day? What a cruel choice to make, and such a fate to put on the poor person of your whimsy, to live but for only one day. Do you pick someone you want to converse with, or someone you want to show the world to in the brief moment they exist on this earth? And they have to be a fictional character, not a historical character, which means we probably can't get any great questions of mankind answered by them...

One could try and be tricky and say the Genie in the lamp but what if after their day is up whatever wishes they grant go away with them? And what if they're not the nice sort of Genie that Disney dreamed up, but more true to the folklore where every wish had another side to it. And it would have to be someone you could speak to as well, what if you asked for Hercules the great and he didn't know a speck of English?! Alight, alright, enough over thinking this.

I suppose if I had to choose one, though I'm not sure I'm all together settled on my choice, I would pick The Flying Spaghetti Monster, and we'd go for a lovely walk outside the local Scientology headquarters, and nearest FOX affiliate.

    • If you had to listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

        Beatles cor 15

If I had to listen to one album for the rest of my life, first of all I would hope it wouldn't be none stop. That would drive anyone crazy, no matter the album! But if it had to be one album I would choose the Beatles remix Love, from the Cirque De Solei musical, which I absolutely loved. I'm a fan of the Beatles, they have timeless music but the remixes are even better I think, adding a contemporary flare to the sound. I know the purists hate it, but I'm just not one of them, so there!

It'd still be tough though, there's a lot of great music out there that I just love to listen to. I have thousands of tracks in my personal collection, and I even have a subscription to satellite radio so that I can get a stream of new music when I'm on a long road trip. Music is just one of those things that you always want to keep fresh, I don't know why that is.

    • How do you stay entertained when you're snowed in?

        Fireplace Fire

Well this is an easy one, what to do when snowed in? Rustle up with a good book by the fire by the family dog, and enjoy the warmth as the snow comes down outside the window. Listen to the wood crackle and the dog snore, hehe, as you slowly drift off into sleep.

    • Three Countries I'd Like to Visit
      • Each week I answer a random question from Plinky.Com, it provides a little inspiration and makes the blog a little more fun. Here’s the answer to the question this week…

        Sunset in Iceland

If I could go on a three country round the world cruise, all expense paid (Yes I know that's not exactly what the question is, but let me have my fun). I'd go first to Australia, and visit Melbourne and Sydney, then to Iceland to tour the country and learn more about the people and their politics (Especially with this whole Switzerland of Bits thing they're working on, which I find very interesting).

Beyond that, I would have to say I'd want to visit Italy. If only to see my homeland (On my father side). To see Rome and the Colosseum, the Vatican and more. While I don't feel very Italian, it is a part of who I am, and I like to explore it some day, to understand it a little more. I know it was an interesting experience for my sister when she traveled through Europe in college.

    • Meat Lover or Meatless: My Stance on Vegetarianism
      • Each week I answer a random question from Plinky.Com, it provides a little inspiration and makes the blog a little more fun. Here’s the answer to the question this week…

        East Meets West Pasta

I’ve can honestly say I’ve never considered becoming a vegetarian, because human beings are in fact omnivores and I simply see it as the natural order of things. However I was at one point forced into becoming a vegetarian for a few months. For reasons that still remain inexplicable, a few years back I suddenly started having difficulty digested meat products, both beaf and chicken. They would just make me ill, and in fact I stopped even having cravings for a burger, a hot dog or some chicken, etc. I was able to eat some fish products, but I still had to be careful. It was an interesting situation to be in, and I had little choice but to roll with it. Turning to breads, fruits and vegetables solely for my meals, with the occasional bit of fish now and again.

After several months my taste for meats did slowly come back, and today I am back to where I once was. I have no idea why my body called for the change in diet, but it really wasn’t all that bad. While for the first few weeks I had a hard time coming up with what to eat while keeping variety, eventually I was able to find a wealth of things that were enjoyable and diverse enough to keep meal times interesting and I have a more diverse pallet today because of it.
