I can't eat super spicy foods the way I used to anymore. Maybe if I still had a Nexium prescription, but unfortunately I don't. One bite of hot salsa makes my stomach hurt with the pain and the burning and it is just not worth it.

These days, I get my salsa medium, and I order my Indian food "medium spicy." It's not necessarily my preference, but you've got to do what you've got to do.

I absolutely adore frozen waffles. They're easy, they're tasty, what's not to love? I've been known to eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, sometimes for two meals in the same day! If I weren't afraid I'd die of malnutrition, I might just eat them exclusively.

I won Color the Weather once when I was like 7 or 8 years old. Does anyone else remember this? You could pick up a sheet at McDonald's on which to draw some picture depicting the weather. If you won, they showed it on the local news station and you won a Happy Meal! Very thrilling.

I submitted my entry in October and I drew a witch flying on her broomstick in the rain. They didn't pick it until like...March and the news anchors made fun of me on air. Apparently they thought I was totally nuts - but come on, they took it totally out of context! Oh, and when I redeemed my free Happy Meal they didn't give me the toy prize with my meal. I was pretty pissed about that.

I really wish I had a copy of that picture so I could post it up here.

I took the commuter bus to the university for a year and a half. The ability to sleep on the bus is very important to me.

That said, I would rather sit next to the irritating talker, all the way! At least I could put in my headphones and ignore them. I might even be able to get a nice little nap in. Being stared at really gives me the creeps. I don't think I could sleep with some weirdo staring at me, giving me the heebie-jeebies.

You know, I actually have bought something off of an infomercial before. I started to get crazy adult acne, and late one night I saw the commercial for Neutrogena SkinID. I didn't actually call in; they provided a URL and I went their and took their "evaluation" and placed an order. The first batch of products they sent me contained a "hydrator" that made my skin burn. They were fairly accommodating when I called in to complain about this though. I retook the skin "evaluation" on the phone and came up with the same result, so she manipulated the test to give me a different moisturizer. However, she had me ship back all three items (not just the moisturizer I didn't like) and I had to pay my own return shipping!

Once I was using a product that didn't make my skin burn, I found this stuff worked okay. However, while I was waiting on my second batch of products I discovered that their Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish cream did the trick. Since I'm more worried about wrinkles than acne now, I save this stuff for particularly bad breakouts. I've been using it again recently, but I just use the cleanser in the shower and the other two products at night. I think for teenagers this stuff would be great and I still like it even though I only use it once in a while.

It's supposed to be an auto refill delivery system but I called in about that too and they put my account on hold. So when I want something I can call in and order just that item. All in all I'm happy enough with this stuff for an "As Seen on TV" deal. Then again, I read somewhere online that you can get the same products in the drugstore, just in different packaging. So I guess they are kind of ripping you off by being intentionally deceptive about that, but they do have great customer service!

Yeesh, I was kind of sounding like a commercial for a minute there. I didn't even get paid for this post though!
