My family had been living in Indiana at the time, and the church we went to was right across the street from our house. I had to of been five or something. Anyway, for some reason I had wanted to get my bike from the house and bring it over to the church. I went across the street with my dad standing on the other side of the road, watching me, and I grabbed my bike. I got on it to ride across the road. I remember there being this red car at the stop sign, (my house was right at a small intersection.) but the guy in the car was looking the other way, so I just assumed that he was going to turn that way. I took off into the road, and looked toward my dad. Next thing I know there's this car horn blaring and I'm about to pee my pants, because the car didn't go the other way and it was coming right at me. My dad flipped and that was that.
