Since it's only 30 minutes from my house, my family and I love to go down the beach at Fort Story any time we can. We have picnics, lounge in the sun, and spend the weekend at the resort there whenever we can.

My boots are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had for hiking and backpacking. I've used my Converse military boots in a pinch, but nothing provides the support and keeps my feet dry and warm like my Montrail GTXs.

My favorite way to stay warm during the dark dreary days of winter is to sit by a roaring fire with friends, family and loved ones while having a nice glass of wine for us adults and hot cocoa for the little ones.

Disneyland is the quintessential amusement park that I had always seen pictures of as a kid and had always dreamed of going. Finally as an adult I was able to take my family and it was everything I ever thought it would be!

Now as a kid growing up in Houston, Texas we'd always go to the now-defunct Astroworld. That's where I'd spend most of my time and have the most good memories of friends and family.

But the best park I've ever been to? Definitely the classic - Disneyland.
