- In response to: "What was the comfort food you enjoyed most growing up?" Candy! I still can't resist Nerds, Cadbury Eggs, SweetTarts, Gummy Bears, and Dove chocolates. I also have no teeth as a result but it was worth it. I moved to Plant City to fit in.

- My lucky paranormal amulet.
-
I normally don't believe in good luck charms, but I have two currently. I was searching through psychic readings on ebay the other day because I was, and still am, confused about my life. Why I would think that a reading would help, I have no idea. Anyway, while I was searching, I decided to take a break and tried to do some mental telepathy to see if I could connect with my deceased mother. Again, why I would think that I could do that, I have no idea. Anyway, after no knocking on the wall or any other obvious sign from her to me transpired, I decided to continue on my search for a psychic reading. While I was searching, I stumbled upon some spell-enchanted amulets and such. Some were for love, money, etc. After some perusing, I found this amulet entitled, "Lucky Las Vegas Fitzgerald Horseshoe Charm." My last name is Fitzgerald and my mom was an avid horse rider. As a matter of fact, it was her life. Coincidence? Maybe, but it is a bit odd to ask for a sign and then stumbling upon a charm that I had not been searching for that referenced my last name, Irish heritage, and my mother's passion. There is a Fitzgerald's gambling place in Vegas. My mom frequented Vegas for her trips. I did allow for the possibility to find a sign online but did not expect that. Well, regardless if it was a sign or not, it is supposed to bring good luck to those who gamble. I am not much of a gambler, but I felt compelled to buy it and it is now dangling from my gold necklace that I am wearing right now. The amulet is attached to the post or view it here at: http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/annex50/horseshoe.jpg
Getting into the spirit of buying charms, I also bought a "gold" bracelet that I found afterward that is supposed to help it's wearer find a job. I haven't worked in many months so I decided to buy it. I just had a job interview today. Yes, on Father's Day. I wore my lucky bracelet. Will I get the job? Do I want the job? Time will tell.

- 'Truth' sounds so sweet

Truth
"The truth is..." is the best start to any real conversation. Don't you crave someone telling you something genuine? We all learn something in this life, yet we all are living in a world so different than the other. Sometimes, a bit of honesty without some sort of personal or financial gain is all one can ask for. Tell me something real that you haven't been given permission to say from your religious book, television set, or other communication medium. What do YOU really think given this body and mind you have been given? I feel like I have only one purpose. I feel that it is to learn from my fellow experiencer (it's not a word, I know.) Don't we share this plain for a reason? Do you not already see how I have failed to bring up the real point you have always been asking? We all share the same goal yet fail to realize that our journey is truly shared. But, we all, fairly often, succumb to this idea of truth. Is it because we were all taught this idea? Did we want to acknowledge our mother when she gave us milk or taught us how to speak, crawl, walk, communicate, and eventually become a consequential human? Did we ever do so adequately?
You have your own answer. Death accompanies us whether we wish it to or not. This is not some rosy story. This is life. I mean death. Which comes first? Do you have an answer? I say you do. I can be substituted at any time to mean what you want. If you are here trying to dig beyond the surface and don't readily accept what has been force-fed to you for survival purposes, then you understand that there is more to transcriptions. This whole living thing and communication thing was taught to you for a reason. Not in some predetermined way but in some spontaneous puzzle-solving-but-hastily-driven kind of way. Your job, if you are this person, is to find your own "truth." You probably realize that your puzzle is not from Mattel or King James or Muhammad or the Dalai Lama or some paranormal medium. It is within you and it only starts there. It requires your acknowledgment and, then your reach within, and then your step to place the first piece, and then your deciphering of what move to make next, and then your move to make it happen. This interpretation does not stop. It does not stop because you can't know the completion . It does not end. It won't do so for you or for your desire to lead those who lag behind. It continues because the answer always resides in the future. You know, the future who will add a question that you never contemplated. This story doesn't complete because it's not finite. It breathes in as you cash your check and as you convince another to believe your words. It doesn't care but yet reaches far beyond your potential because you are you. You. I. Me. We. Existence as we know it. Continuing beyond our expectations because it has to. Because it will. Because it doesn't have to make sense. Because it has to reach farther than you ever thought possible. Words. Thoughts. Emotions. Desire. Good. Evil. They are what you see. They are words. They exist because you've seen them. Unfortunately, and yet fortunately, truth has a purpose beyond understanding. It stands for this thing called a cycle. You start; you experience; you live; you begin again. Oh, I'm sorry. I messed that up. You experience; you start; you end; you begin again. Did the end come first? Damn this linear restriction! Point A, Point B; Life, Death. Didn't this all make sense? What is the truth? Do you know?

Some alcohol,a suicide note, and cyanide.
In 40 years, we will probably have some computer chip implanted in our brain and will not seek such deviations from conventional thinking (like alcohol, drugs, and philosophical conversation). So, when I open the note, I will remember that life was much more emotional and meaningful even when technology was just starting to take over our lives. Since my life mission was to never be a mindless drone and, yet I have become one, I will be doing myself a favor and freeing myself.

- Being lame should be a crime
-
I was going to title this post as "Being fake", but then I realized that you can accomplish this task and still get what you want. I say, don't be lame! Don't tell me about your conquest over Iraq and hundreds of women that span all personality possibilities. Just tell me where you are right now and what your struggles are. If not, then at least tell me that you want me to feed your ego so that you can continue to do what you've been doing and now feel motivated to continue it. Why befriend another when they are only there to serve as a stepping stone just like your supposed whores? A crime is something that most people would consider to be immoral or wrong in some sense. Should you lie or manipulate me ever? Maybe. Should you be lame and let me be a pawn in your game that leads to an end that has been conquered before? I think not.
