      • "At the end of the day" - I got something of a habit of using this awful phrase when I lived in London. I find it vulgar and I hate it when I catch myself uttering it.

      • Standing up for an animal's life


        As a child growing up in the countryside, I put myself in front of a pig about to be slaughtered. I didn't save the pig's life but I never forgot the incident. I think it played a key role in my becoming vegan years later.
