        My favorite thing to photograph is my son specifically, friends and family generally. I have tons of photos all over my house, and it makes me smile to see their faces. My favorite photo of my son is when he's about two years old, and every time I took his photo, the flash caused him to close his eyes. So eventually, he figured out that he was supposed to squinch his eyes up real tight every time I said smile! It took so long to untrain that one!

        Bookstore. I could easily spend the entire amount on books. Now I won't spend it all on me. Books are the thing I most love to give as gifts; to really pick out a specific book for a specific person. My favorite thing to do is to read the book first, annotate it, highlight the passages that mean something to me, then give it to the person.
