I always thought it would be perfect to be born in 1950, in order to get the full "Americana" experience. Think about it: you're a child for the post-war boom years, you're a young teenager for the Beatles invasion, you're 19 for Woodstock, you're in your 20s during the psychadelic 70s, and then you get to be a creepy yuppy in the 80s (okay, so that decade just generally sucked as far as being in your 30s - see American Psycho - but, oh well - at least there was some excellent music!). My mother was born in 1950, and I've always envied that!

I would totally want to move in with Bert & Ernie. They'd be so much fun (despite how much of a stuck up his ass Bert sometimes has!). Living with 2 gay men would be such a blast. ;)

One of my earliest memories is of attending a party down the street from my parents' house. It was in the house with the lions on either side of the steps, and I wore a black dress with plaid ribbons. I was very young, so I really only remember lots of adults' legs, and two large rooms, one of which had a lot of food on a big table spread with a tablecloth - appetizers, including olives (which I loved, and recall wanting very much).

And I don't recall if this was the same day, but it's associated in my memory, probably because of the location: I remember walking down the street with my mother, and saying "Hello, sister" to the nuns who passed us by on the sidewalk; they used to live down the street from us, but no longer. They would at times walk around in full habit - very strange, in this day & age!

Money isn't even real anymore, in terms of a barter system. It doesn't represent anything of value - at this point, your monetary worth is just numbers on a computer screen. I'd much rather be happy - even if I am broke & happy. I know that is a very difficult thing to achieve, because having money DOES mean a lot in this society - even just having enough not to have to stress over paying for the basics - but if I were able to earn happiness without money, I'd be absolutely fine with that. Being happy is my ultimate goal in life - not being rich.

Studying for the GRE!!! Because it's boring, and there are a zillion other things to do, and honestly, I'm mostly just ornery about the whole thing because I think tests like this SHOULDN'T have to be studied for...and yet they are. Ugh.

Have to learn how to disassociate my emotions and ties to people with their zombie selves...also, hole up in a mall. They were smart ones in Dawn of the Dead, they were.

Absolutely environmental, no question, all the time. I'd so much rather have practical and less wasteful rather than flashy and gross.

Oh, BY EMAIL. That's my favorite story - now. He didn't even do it clearly - he wrote some vague shit whose meaning I wasn't certain about. I waited 2 days and finally called him, and asked him if he had broken up with me, and he said yes. Awesome.

Also, I have been broken up with by not having been broken up with. Instead, I got pulled along by a string & broken promises, until I finally gave up and did the breaking up myself. Spineless, dickless bastard.

Oh, am I bitter? No. Hahaha.

No, but I've always wanted to buy one of those food dehydrators - my sister & I were dying to make dried watermelon, because it always sounded so good!

Okay, I will NEVER be featured in the next issue of Sports Illustrated. So, I don't think I even need to respond to this one...haha.
