When I think of my dad, I always am reminded of the many early mornings spent in little hole-in-the-wall breakfast cafes, sipping chocolate milk and munching on bacon and eggs. It was our tradition, when we had a special day when I was a kid, to get breakfast, go to the library and the playground, make a pit stop at the penny candy store and finally, dinner at the restaurant of my choice (which was usually a diner, or a turkey sandwich place near my grandparents' place) I would give almost anything to be able to relive these memories...I sure wish I had a pensieve.
