I obviously don't vote for Pedro!
Every person seems to have seen this movie!!!! I've never really been intersted in watching it, it has just never appealed to me. However this seems to be the biggest crime to some people! I have had so many "You mean you havn't ever seen it?!?!?!" 's it's not funny. Please tell me what is wonderful about this movie anyways?

- Cannot be left alone in the house at night after this one..
-
Most of the horror films i have seen have been quite far fetched, little girls coming out of tv screens and seriel killers that just wont die. However, this movie really hits home, with it's realistic setting and story line of a disturbing home envasion. Most people have probably been scared at some point when they are home at night thinking of someone coming and breaking into the house; this movie brings that nighmare alive. Don't take my word for it - if you really want to be scared shitless, then this movie is perfect.

- Paperweights and Lip Gloss
-
A few years ago for my 13th birthday my bestie amy bought me all these really cute girly things - lip gloss, jewellery, make up - the usual things 13 year old like. However amoungst all the pink and glitter of my presies was this big heavy red and black thing, which quite frankly looked like a weird rock. According to Amy it was a hand crafted paperwieght from Oxfam, that had come all the way from some Asian country. "Oh it's lovely!" i said. Lovely for a grandma. Haha Amy i still love you gorgeous girl, and unfortunately still to this day have the paperweight resting faithfully on my bedside table.

- Australian Youth Dance Festival - Woo Hoo
-
I was ESCTACTIC a few weeks ago when I attended the Australian Youth Dance Festival for the first time. This amazing festival is run every second year by Ausdance, for young dancers aged 14-18, providing them with the chance to work with Australias top choreographers. The festival is a weeks worth of intensive workshops, with a performance by all participants at the closing.
I LOVE dance, however I never thought I would have the opportunity to attend such an amazing event. So when my dance teacher told me he was going to take a gruop of us i was SO happy! The price was a problem though - $250. My single mum wasnt too keen on it; wanting for me to go, but not affording the cost. Thankgod for my wonderful grandfather, pulling through and paying for me!
I was sooooo overjoyed about the whole thing! Probably the happiest i have been for some time now!!!!! WOO HOO :)
