Right now. My youngest child leaves for college in 37 days. I've been a stay-at-home mom for the most part since 1994 and for the past 21 years, my priority has been my two girls. One has graduated from college and will begin her adult life, the other begins college.

For the first time since 1993, there will be no semesters in my life, no school hours, no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to make each morning. Just the time and the freedom to now explore my own gifts, talents and interests.

I'm trying to look for the silver lining, but at this point, I have to be honest and say I'm more focused on the end than the beginning. But that will change in 38 days.
