      • hello Bonnie Wienke

      • In response to: "Even if you aren't a chef, what's your favorite dish to prepare?" Lasagna is my all time favorite food to prepare. It takes lots of time and ingredients and that equals love for me.. Bread would be a close second. All that rising and kneading is very sensuous.

    • Impossible? Nah!
      • I believe in a loving and forgiving God. Sometimes that all knowing loving creator is hard to believe in. I, like everyone, have spells when the well runs dry. Perhaps the second impossible thing I believe in is myself and my amazing ability to land on my feet most times and keep on plowing through my life.
The third thing is I can not believe I am 65! Oh My God! What the hell happened? Yikes, I am running out of time. There were many years when I thought the end would never come, but the sand in the timer is getting pretty deep in the bottom of the glass. I have become much more selective with what I do and with whom I spend time.
I believe in love. How could I not? I have loved very deeply and been loved in return. More than once, I might add. Can not ask for much more than that.
I believe in Karma or what goes round comes round or what you sew you reap. All the same thing.
I believe I have run on and on and need to say bye now!

    • My obsessions consume me!
      • I obsess about obsessing about so many things! No, really! I think it is because I had a mother that I could never please and when I was little I did not realize that was HER problem, not mine. Now I find myself wondering if people like me, really really like me, and if they do why haven't they called me in a week. The worst time for obsessing is just before falling asleep and first waking in the morning or middle of the night. The mind wanders and I tend to go over and over what he said and she said..Oh, damn, doing it again, aren't I?

    • Lying on the Way to Her Truth
      • Looking back I can see where it all began, but at the beginning it was difficult, if not impossible. I was born in a little county hospital close to the University of Florida, where my daddy was going to school. He was only a part of my life for three years. No, that isn't true because Daddy, although shot down over North Korea when I was three, never stopped being a part of my life. My mother had quit high school to marry my father and his family never forgave her for being trash, even if she did help to produce their only grandchild. Miss Bonnie Lee, that would be Queenie, you see, for I always had an attitude and for what reason I will never quite understand.

    • The top five items
      • What five items would I grab on my way out of my home? I would get my purse, laptop and my important papers. My photos and keys also. But, really nothing is important if I could not have my husband, children and two furbabies..

    • On Voting
      • I voted three years ago in the national election and will vote in the primary here in Texas.
It is a privilege to vote and I would never miss the opportunity!
