- In response to: "If you were in a movie right now, what music would be playing?" Bingly-Bongly acoustic music. Something like my friends Narayan or Joseph would play. Unless it was a fight scene, then we'd have fight music. Music to fight to.

I am scared that this book reads far too much like my life. Actually I don't mean scared. Comforted maybe. It's just such such a beautiful book. Every character is perfect in their imperfectness. This book says Take a chance and just live.
I realised that we all have a little bit of Holden Caulfield inside of us. Maybe some more than others. Sometimes people worry that they're wasting their life if they're not doing something big like saving the world or curing cancer. No. Sometimes the smallest lives make the biggest difference. You can change the world alright - because your friends, family, dreams, this is your world. And you can make the difference. This book taught me to take a chance. To be who I am not who I think I should be.

A Decade Under the Influence by Taking Back Sunday
It even has the words 'long drive home' in it. Plus I love this song. Plus I love this band. Just stick it on the mixtape christ.
You know the film Elizabethtown? I <3 that film and this is my favourite song from it. It's a lot about driving too so hey that's like 2 in 1? Yes'm.
Passenger Seat by Death Cab for Cutie
It's a song about driving. Plus it's a beautiful song. Just put it on when you're in the car with someone you love, roll the window down and breathe it in. SO good.
