- I'm turning into my mother
-
I am proud to say that I am becoming a lot like my mother- the most important lessons learned throughout my life are those which she has taught me. She developed within me a lack of judgement towards others; acceptance. I owe my sense of humour to my mother, who even in the midst of upsetting circumstances can always make you smile. She taught me how to show love and compassion- how to selflessly care for others.
On a lighter note, my mother has also influenced many of my likes and preferences: she introduced me to old horror movies and Stephen King novels, to simple home cooking and to a love for animals. I can say honestly that almost every positive thing in my life is in someway thanks to my mother, and for this I will always remain grateful.

- A day without a cell phone
-
Yes, I have gone a day without my mobile phone- it was after I accidentally tossed the phone into a puddle that also happened to be on a slab of concrete. Needless to say, the phone no longer functioned properly and I was forced to replace it.
