- Chardonnay and Parmesan & Garlic Cheez-its often sooth me when stressed
-
When things get stressful, I often reach for a deluxe size glass of chilled Chardonnay and a small snack sized bowl of Parmesan & Garlic Cheez-its. It's wine & cheese for the someone too stressed (or hungry) to hold a knife and slice cheese. It's not a compromise. Those Parmesan & Garlic Cheez-its are basically perfect flavor wise. And though the economy may urge you to go for the Two Buck Chuck, might I suggest springing for a bottle that's upwards of five dollars or more.

- You'll find "Wired" atop my toilet

Wired
It's an easy and entertaining way to keep current with developments in since and technology. It's good writing with full injections of pop culture. There's always a "gadgets" section, good for drooling over the tech gizmos you'll never own but dream you have.
I love technology... But not as much as you, you see, but still I love technology... Always and forever.

- My trip from Spokane, WA to Kansas City, Kansas
-
I was 13 or 14. My parents were divorced. We were living in Spokane, but my dad lived in Kansas City. We were going to go stay with him for the summer. My mom, bro, sis, and I packed our stuff in my mom's small Toyota and took the trip. I remember all of us having a laugh attack passing through Butte, Montana because that's almost like Butt Montana ( : I remember the car becoming air born at one point through South Dakota because we were flying down the highway with all the windows open and a gust of wind lifted us, or at least that's what my mom said. Felt like we were in the "Dukes of Hazards". The trip was super long. We all got car sick once or twice and back then, it made me not like road trips, but now, recalling that trip makes me nostalgic.

- A day without a cell phone
-
Only happens on the weekends. In fact I can plug in my phone to charge on Friday evening and leave it alone till I'm out the door on Monday. Now, though the week, that's a different story. I can't recall when I last was without my cell during the week. Ironically, I do everything but talk on my cell. I mainly use it to tether my Macbook to for an internet connection on the train while I commute to work. Aside from that, I text like crazy. To not have it for a day during the week would suck massively.
