    • 'Stages on Life’s Way', by Kierkegaard' wasn't an easy read
      • Stages On Life's Way deals consecutively with each of the three stages, or "existence spheres" of life, as Kierkegaard called them, consisting of the esthetic, the ethical and the religious.

Based closely on his private complex experiences, using very long sentences, frequent changes of abstraction level and an arcane language, it is exceedingly difficuly to follow. Would not recommed it without e.g. first reading 'A Primer on Kierkegaardian Motifs'.

    • I'm in the Hall of Fame
      • I was famous one night in Orlando for breaking a local speed limit most excessively when leaving a motor cycle hangout. Got a legendary speeding ticket to go along with it.

    • When I started using the Internet
      • This was around 1987, using a local UUCP based link for Usenet and email. We had a small local star network going between a handful of Amiga die hards in Copenhagen, using only public domain (now: open source) software. Also tried a teletype terminal back in the late 70'ies, communicating with a time share server some 20 miles away, using TCP/IP. Got my own ISP line in 1995, when the very first affordable service appeared in Copenhagen.
