    • How About A Cupcake Shop?
      • Pink Frosted Vanilla Cupcakes

My friend, Destiny, and I wanted to open up a cupcake bakery. It all started one afternoon sometime a few months ago...

"Here, I'll go get us some water," Destiny had said, as we sat down in the middle of a Starbucks. I let her go, and pulled out my phone to check if there were texts. There weren't. Destiny came back, a cup of water in each hand. We both sat there and drank our water, talking about how we loved the way coffee shops were.
"We should open up our own," I said. "And make it just the way we like it." I could already picture it in my head, Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling, cozy couches and small wood tables...
Somehow, we got discussing how the drinks were all so weird, and we could never master everyone's favorite. But what if we had a bakery? With cupcakes! That's how the idea was born.
We walked back to her house, talking about the kinds of cupcakes we'd have and the ways we'd decorate the place. Every building for leasing caught our attention. We wanted to talk about it forever and ever until it was so real that it would actually happen.

But the idea faded away, and I really wish it hadn't.

    • My Book.
      • I'm writing a book. This is it.

        Stop
Avery dies on the happiest day of her life. She chooses to go to the Afterlife: a place that only deserving people may choose to go after they die. She may walk the earth as a ghost; humans will not see her or hear her, but they can feel her. And as she transports down to see the love she had to leave behind, she begins to question if he ever really loved her in the first place.

    • Why Don't You Put a Paper Bag Over Your Head?
      • We all know those kids, who try their hardest to fit in, or to be like someone else. Those "fakes" or "posers." What's wrong with being yourself? Wear what you want to wear, listen to what you want to listen to, be friends with people you want to be friends with. If you can't be who you are, then I probably can't stand you.

    • My Mixed Tape
      • So, you're going on a road trip. However many hours it takes to get away from here, that's what you've got. It won't be something you can live through without music. These are my top three songs for a road-trip.

The Mixed Tape by Jack's Mannequin

This song is just a great song. Period. I could put it on repeat and jam to it for hours. It's great if you like to sing, especially by yourself. It's just one of those songs that's always stuck in my head, and I like it that way.

All Over You by The Spill Canvas

I've been obsessed with this song since I bought it from iTunes. It's another song that's hard not to sing along to. I probably have played it enough that in about a week, I'll hate it.

        Kids by MGMT

This song is just weird, to be honest. I love it. I could blast it in my car and just sing it, even though I still don't know the words. It's just fun to listen to.
