      • Get a sundae. Ideally, a Cookie Fudge Fantasy. For the best experience, go late at night and make sure your server's name is Drex. And, most importantly, don't get real food. Just get dessert.

      • Stand By Me by Playing For Change

Playing For Change is a project that connects musicians from around the world to create songs that blend vastly different cultures together. Next to their cover of "One Love", "Stand By Me" is my favorite Playing For Change song. It has a tempo perfect for driving and its many different elements (there is a wide variation of voices and instruments, as in all Playing For Change songs) keep it interesting to listen to.

The Next Episode by Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg

This song is perfect for all occasions. Weddings, funerals, Bar Mitzvahs, road trips... It's the ultimate "I have arrived" song.

Bitches Ain't Shit by Ben Folds

I almost like this Dre cover more than the original. I like it for two reasons: I know all the words and it's supremely vulgar and chauvinistic. Ben Folds really turns this classic rap piece into something sensitive and emotional.

    • I Never Believed This Was Possible - But Now I Do
      • Honestly? I never believed that any partner could make me orgasm without using some sort of vibrator. Over a month later, I'm still shocked. It was an amazing experience, as I'd always imagined it would be if it were possible. That might sound like small potatoes, but, for me, my sexuality is as close to a god-figure or religion as I can get. Orgasms are perfect in the same way that the Immaculate Conception is perfect. Irreverent? Yes. But accurate.

I'd always viewed the build-up and culmination of an orgasm to be an exact art with very specific criteria like speed, rhythm, and pattern. Not so. At least, not for me. It's doubtful that anyone could ever please me exactly how I please me. Thankfully, there is more than one way for me to get off and thank God (or some facsimile) I know that now.

It's pretty wonderful to have a partner with whom I can communicate my desires and needs so effectively.

    • If I Had Unlimited Resources, I Would...
      • I would create a really, really good elementary school. That is, if highly trained, educated, and intensely passionate educators count as a resource and are available to me. The success of a school rests on the educators. No amount of technology or healthy lunches or amazing curriculum can make a difference if the educators aren't being educators.

Although it seems like creating one school that meets my personal criteria, standards, and tastes falls under micromanagement, I'd have to start somewhere. The key to improving anything overall is starting strong. Having unlimited resources does not mean that I'll certainly be successful, but it does give me the means to be successful. Creating one school first and focusing my attention on its creation and growth is, in my opinion, the way to make sure it succeeds.

I also wouldn't shape the school around only my ideas. I know next to nothing about theories of education and how to manage a school. I would need advisers whom I trusted and whose opinions and accomplishments I respected and admired. I only know that I'm more passionate and opinionated about education than any other issue. Passion's got to count for something, right?

To clarify what I mean by "good"... my picture of an ideal elementary school is a school that fosters creativity, autonomy, and good decision-making above all else and gives the students the tools and structure and inspiration to achieve in those ways. There would also be a great focus on foreign language. I think those skills are greatly lacking in most people.
