- Can money really buy you happiness?
-
The age old question where the answers seem to change on a daily basis.
The age old question where the answers seem to change on a daily basis. You always hear people say, "If I just has a little more money, I could do this" or "I would be so much more happier if I had a bit more money". I would say that this feeling is only temporary because of the constant cycle of wanting more. In the long run, you're never satisfied with what you have.
I say we need to get back to the things that truly make us happy. Whether its family, friends, loved ones, etc. Those are the things that can truly make us happy on a long term basis.

- Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner?

Breakfast: All Day, Every Day
Stuffed French Toast (Ear Wax Cafe)
Breakfast is about the only meal I can find myself eating any time of the day. Just look at all the options you can have: scrambled eggs, steak and eggs, french toast, etc. But who doesn't love hash browns!!! I swear, I could eat hash browns every morning ;)

- What's More Important
-
Tough to answer this one because they're equally important. But I would lean more towards what I do for a living. If you're not doing what you love, you're going to be miserable in the long run. I see too many people just going through the motions when it comes to their daily jobs. They put up with the brutal hours, the bad working conditions, lack of vacation and/or the abuse received when taking vacation, etc. Why do we constantly do this?
After a number of false starts in my career, I decided to focus on doing what I love. I'm working on a number of projects, I started writing again, I'm learning about all sorts of new things, etc. Ever since I made this change, my overall life has improved, my health has gotten better, and I'm happier for it. You can always find somewhere great to live, but I think what you do for a living is just a little more important.
