The most impressive thing I have ever built/repaired/duct taped* is a house. Two springs in the late 90s I spent with a group of friends building houses in South Carolina with Habitat for Humanity.
It was an amazing experience. Where else can an 18 year old girl learn to roof a house, hang cabinets, raise walls and insulate an attic?
*I need to duct tape more.
