    • The Most Difficult Recipe I've Mastered
      • Ceramic glaze recipes are the most difficult that I have come across to master. There is always some unknown factor that makes it a challenge. It can be different variables in the ingredients that you use, to the firing technique. The finally results are like opening presents at Christmas. There are always some suprises that come out of your labour of love. The recipes that has lots of surprises are the Ash glazes or Raku glazes. I am sure there are also many challlenges in the culinary world. It all needs love, care and attention.

    • My Fitness Routine
      • The fitness routine that I have been doing is a 45 min. walk through a path in the woods. It starts by going through the neighbourhood and it changes to the path that winds and twists in the woods. It ends up back onto the streets of the neighbourhood. I also have a circuit that I take my bike on.It is also great to take the canoe down to the lake and paddle in the early mornings. In the winter, I go snowshoeing, cross country skiing or sometimes go skating. It all helps with keeping the blood sugars in check.

    • My Favorite Sporting Events
      • The sports that I get most excited about is downhill and cross-country ski racing, figure skating and cycling. I do watch them on T.V., when ever I can. I think that if I had the chance, I would have participated in the cross-country and the cycling but it didn't happen in this life time. I have been active with cross-country skiing and the cycling. I enjoy doing them both very much. Because of where I live now, it is mostly the cycling.
