I write code, crack jokes, and generally wish I was 150km away, trying to snag fish at the cottage. Oh, and I sleep a lot.

More seriously, though, I spend a lot of time reading (e-mails, business magazine articles, programming fora), and not nearly enough time actually doing real work. Sometimes it's because I don't know how I should approach a certain situation in one of my projects. Other times, I just don't feel motivated to do anything at all.

It's something I'm trying to work on, because I feel it affects my life negatively. But even when I'm at my most productive, I tend to eventually slip back towards being a slacker.

If I were so lucky to have $1,000 simply fall into my lap, I'd waste no time in converting said cash into a computer. Really, there's nothing I'd want to spend it on more than getting a nice new box, one that's actually been made within the last five years, rather than without. (Yeah, I'm using a computer from 2003. I'm poor. So what?)

Hey, if you have a spare grand lying around, tell me. I'd be happy to take it off your hands, and get myself a new computer with it.
