      • The best cup of coffee around is definitely my mother's homemade coffee. I do not drink coffee on a daily basis, but when I do, I really enjoy the coffee my mother makes. The best part of this coffee is that I can have as much as I want, and it is free! To me, things always taste better when they are free.

    • I rarely give up

      • To me, it is rarely okay to quit. Quitting should only be done when it is necessary or it benefits a person, such as quitting smoking. However, quitting in other ways is not accepted as easily. In my opinion, one should go through to the end, no matter what the situation is. One should give everything he or she has before deciding to "throw in the towel". Before one decides to quit, he or she should think carefully about the decision being made, and make sure that he or she did everything that could possibly be done before quitting. Giving up does not come too easily for me.

        For YouFest in the summer of 2010, I would have Passion Pit headline the festival. Passion Pit is an alternative band that plays extremely catchy, pop music, which, in my opinion, is great for summer. Their music would set the tone for the entire festival, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all who attend.


        Ke$ha
        Ke$ha would definitely fit the bill for the summer festival. She is an up and coming new artist who would bring a level of excitement to the event that no one could match. Her party anthems and honest lyrics would certainly get the crowd on their feet. Ke$ha would be an enormous hit for YouFest 2010.

    • It's about time for clean beaches

      • One element of nature that could use a redesign is the sand on the beach. Although it was not caused naturally, many beaches have dirty, littered sands that could definitely use a redesign. I think these beaches could use a good cleaning up. Many of these beaches have glass, wrappings, or any other pieces of garbage laying around. Not only is this not safe to people on the beach, but it also takes away from the beauty of the beach. A clean beach is a beach that I would want to go to, and it is about time for clean beaches.
