        The fear of being alone. There is a power in self reliance that is unmatched. With the wind at my back, the sun rising before me, and many unexplored lands, unopened books, and unseen wonders, I have a lot to do, and time is on my side. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

    • In defense of my vice: paris smoker

        My vice is definitely smoking cigarettes. I began as a social smoker, quit for a while, and began again when I turned 18. I am not a chronic smoker, however I do feel that it is not going to harm my health at the rate that I smoke. I enjoy it during certain moments, as a moment enhancer. For example, while drinking coffee on those black little chairs outside of coffee shops, sitting in the park, sitting on the beach, on the boardwalk, at sunset or sunrise, while reading a good book. It's especially nice when I'm stressed. I'd quit if somehow it caused me lung problems, and if I was pregnant.

      • Newburyport, Massachusetts

        Newburyport Massachusetts. Everyone is friendly, there's good food all around the downtown, music is constantly played on the street, and there is always something going on. Not to mention it is on the sea. The city has a lot to offer, a lot of diversity, and is always cheery and bustling--like me. It is right next to the ocean, just as my heart is close to the ocean.
