    • City or Country? Yes and no...
      • small town

I'm sort of an inbetweener. I'd live in what definitely ought to be categorized as "the country". It's neat, but there are amenities to city living as well. For example, I still have cars that go by... and on an unlined, country road they go by pretty fast. And on whichever side of the road they please. Although some drivers follow this standard in the city it tends to lean toward convention. It's peaceful out in the country! But then again, when you want to be "doing" stuff, you can't beat the city. That's why:

I think my favorite places are the small to medium sized towns. You aren't far from the serenity of the country, but you have some access to things to do (obviously depending on the city!)

Plinky.com of course! Well, not really. I'd say these are the "top five":

        5. My online link for Liberty University. I literally couldn't get through seminary without it. Now, once all is said+done, this will not occupy a spot in this list.
        4. biblegateway.com is an ultra helpful tool. I use it/refer to it very often.
        3. I have recently discovered the importance of keeping pretty up to date on checking account balances (especially in the aspect of when things post), so my online banking would take this one. If I had all the money in the world to fritter away...
        2. Wordpress.com. I'm trying to learn/do the whole blogging thing, so in as much as this is the blog, it would make things easier!
        1. Facebook/Twitter. I combine them at the top since they encompass a way of keeping up with friends, musical things, ministry things, etc. and have links to other sites of importance.

Honorable mention goes to Youtube, by the way

    • If I Could Go Back...
      • Jessica

This is a tough prompt to answer. In all reality, my two music degrees served me well, while my call to the ministry (and subsequent tour of duty in seminary) has been equally worthwhile. I think that if I had it to do all over again I would have done one of three different things:

        A. I would have buckled down in the education classes and really worked hard so that I wouldn't have had to figure out band directing on the fly.

        B. I would have ignored everything in the aforementioned and spent even more time practicing the stuff I'd need to know for my performance degree.

        C. I would have done none of the above buying stock in something that was probably pretty low in the mid 90s and has since raised drastically. Then, as I sailed around the world, those silly classes would have been meaningless!

      • Elvis

I can one-up the year thing and go straight to the day. I was born on August 16, 1977... the day Elvis Presley died. That's my claim to fame! Or was that infamy?

If I'm not mistaken, Star Wars also came out that year. Elvis and Obi-Wan... yes, the Force was strong in 77.
