Dear great-great-grandchildren,

I hope that you are not mad at me for not existing and for me hoping that you never will. It is for your own good and the good of your parents that I have decided to not fall pregnant.

I know my past and behavior and, if hereditary, I wish for you to not receive those genes. So I thought that it would be better to stop it now, while it's still possible. I am not yet able to pay for it, but I will get, as soon as possible, an operation to not be able to give birth to your great grand-parents. In the worst case, you are the fruit of my adopted children.

I see the world around me and though I am still young, i do fear for what the time will be for you. What will the music be like? The school and the other students? Your friends and surroundings? What if your parents don't treat you well, what if you come to this world sick? More questions blast through my mind when I think of you living in the future of my actual world. But I also have my personal reasons, of course.

I will keep on watching the world for you and see if my decision is still good or not. Personally, I don't think it will change. I have been holding this position for many years now and I have found more and more reasons to not infant than reasons to give life to a living being. I am, though, open to adoption. But i still hesitate on behalf of the parenting.

But time will tell.
