College, circa 1997ish. I remember using telnet (i think?) for email and a code called "finger" that you could type with the person's user name and see when the last time they checked their email was, and where they were on campus. This is where i got the nickname (e)leplast and liz became lchillin....from the beginning of our email addresses.
I also remember that Michelle was the only one in the sorority house (that i can remember) that had her own computer in her room. The rest of us used the computer lab or the ancient ones in the basement.
It was around this time that professors started to expect all papers to be typed and handed in (still not emailed as attachments though) and when internet research became a legitimate source for papers. I remember writing a paper on euthansia and spending hours in the computer lab looking for information (and this was in the pre-google days).

Since I can remember. It used to be really bad when I was a kid, and I had bad panic attacks. It got better when I started working with kids, although I told JC I would only marry him if he got up with the kids at night if they were throwing up.
