        Over the years I've attempted to start a hobby of collecting. From stamps to memorabilia to magnets. But after watching Hoarders, i realize, over time, I'll just pile it up unattended. So currently, inactively, i collect different types of coins. Old, new, different country, one of each. Being my Arabic coin that dates back to 1904.

    • Will I Ever Go Back to School?

      • Vancouver Film School Summer Intensives 2010

        If the subject to be taken me back to school are free to choose, i would definitely go for film school and probably take it part time (somebody has got to pay the bills right?). It's been a long dream for me to learn the craft and skill of some of my beloved directors/producers/cinematographer/effect creator/any job in the studio.

    • 3 significant historic events that have occurred in my lifetime

      • Boats washed ashore near local businesses in down town Aceh, Sumatra following a massive Tsunami

        1) When Jurassic Park open in theaters that propelled me in awe on how dinosaurs were in real life and the dawn of CGI effects + special effects. (PS: i watched it in the cinema - 4 times)
        2) 9/11. I was in the army back then and after lunch, some of my superiors scared us by saying we were going to war.
        3) Although the Japan earthquake and tsunami was much a recent event, one that struck close to home was the Indonesia tsunami of 2004. My 1st real tremor that i fully felt all the way in Singapore. Then the news of the tsunami came and one by one images and videos of the devastation came and hit me square. It was terrifying.
